    TADANARI (not Tandari) is injured.

    Hope that helps.

He was with the squad in France/Switzerland, but seems a little way from fitness. Perhaps thats why we are hanging on to Lee until Lee gets fit!

Still injured. He's got tthe boot off his foot and is doing some light training, but he's obviously not fully fit yet and don't think he will be ffor another month or so.

4 months was an often quoted figure so I think he is supposed to be back around end of September time. Problem is he'll have to do a bit of a pre-season so he will be playing catch up for a bit. I have a little ambition that he will play at the 2014 World Cup :)

Strange ambition that...what work are you putting into getting Lee to the World Cup?

Don't know...I'm working on it. Japan have almost qualified for the tournament though which is good.

Why do so many people struggle with the name "Tadanari"? It really isn't difficult.

People just don't bother to check their spelling before or even immediately after posting. I can understand the odd typo with a litle linking word like the error I've just made [look closer if you didn't spot it], but people's names, places, etc..?

As it happens, I made an tiny spelling error in my previous post too, so who am I to talk..? :)

there is a difference for broken bones withstanding the force needed ror light running and the strength needed for kicking a ball and even another player kicking or standing on his foot. Give it time, 2 weeks will make all the difference

Talking of which, does anyone know where I could buy a Japanese flag? Would Sainsbury's or Waitrose be a possibility, perhaps?

That's harsh, I thought Tadanari Lee was quite intelligent, not good at English granted, but he is working on it.

If we're sticking with this 4-3-2-1 I'm inclined to agree, I have him ranked 4th of our strikers.
