Edison Cavanni is again being linked to Chelsea. Probably bollocks, but if its true, is this the link that ties everything together ??
Would love to see him and Torres up front as a duo.

Nope. I don't think having an over rated £170K extra on the wages will be worth it.

You want two up front! You will have enough trouble getting games for your midfielders without changing your formation to use only 4 of them at a time.

Have to agree with this. Playing 2 up front in an outdated system too.

We have to give Torres a full season without Drogba breathing down his neck plus being supported by the likes of Hazard, Mata etc. If he still under performs then we'll have to consider alternatives.

From what I saw last season though, there is no reason why Torres wont be banging in the goals if played regularly and in an attack minded side.

I dont think we need him. A right back and we're done!

Yeah but football is a squad game. The days of just needing a squad of 16 are long gone. We will be playing. Minimum of 60 games this season we need a striker IMO.

More importantly I want to see a new Goalkeeper

Definitely agree with this. What we need is a new back-up goalkeeper, a new first choice right-back and a new striker to rotate with Torres when he is fatigued/injured/suspended/unavailable for any other reason or just being kept rested and injury/suspension free for a more important match.

I wouldn't mind a loan for a year for a good keeper as back up to cech but see little point in buying one when we have Courtois from next year.

Sturrdige will surely be Torres back up and buying a right back would set Hutchinson / Kane back.

I think our squad looks pretty solid and balanced at the moment IMO.
