I feel as if I am in the Heinz TV commercial and the girl is singing in the background......a-n-t-i-c-i-p-a-t-i-o-n, a-n-t-i-c-i-p-a-t-i-o-n is making me wait........waiting for all the transfer news about the team. I'm on the web every chance I get to check in but just the odd news to tease now and again...................what's a mother to do??????
 
I have not been excited since Keane was manager. When he would spend 20-30 million on 10 players on transfer deadline day (exaggeration I know but it felt like that).

The names we have been linked with and even the vast majority of signings under Bruce were meh, and i am not holding out much hope for MON to do anything we will go WOW over. (they may work wonders in a team but i still cant get excited over the likes of Fletcher and the other relegated names we have been linked with)
 
Steve, you have to remember when Kean came in he was full of his own bravado and was going to break eggs with a stick, it got the fans pulse up and they loved him. Mark you he had the stadium decorated with photographs etc of past teams and past glories something to aspire to for the players.
We have a different kind of manager....cool, unassuming but very calculating....he has been down this road before with other teams and he knows the drill. I have no doubt he will do the best for the club but I must admit it is frustrating but there again no news is good news.
