You'll need to phone and book your tickets if you're going LR It's well worth going to it, best cinema in town in terms of comfort and lack of wee pricks. Then after the movie, your in Ashton Lane which is great for boozing. I quite like Radio which is further down the street past the cinema
dont know why i've never been, i live in maryhill at the minute and have lived in the west end for the last 10 years, dunno why it doesnt have a decent night club though
Viper isn't far away from Ashton Lane and it can have it's moments. I've always meant to go to nude which is upstairs of Radio.
Isnt it impossible to get into these places without at least 3 birds in your group? I heard almost all bouncers in Glasgow are ordered to turn all the bars into pretentious ****fests.
my mate is a bouncer and that is a FACT frank. he's the only reason i ever get in and then get to stay in anywhere. aye ML been viper loads but it can be a bit rammed as its pretty small. was in boho a few times after it opened but heard it was pretty rough now (there were a load of eastern european hookers there when i was in last) and the orin mor one is always full of old rapist looking blokes (gimme 10 years then i'll fit in) but there isnt really a decent sized club in the west end. i suppose the unions take up a lot of the students fri/sat
Quite alot of the places are like that Frank. Does my ****ing head in. I was out one time for my cousin turning 17 and she had loads of her pals out as well. The bouncers at ABC let all the underage girls in but none of the guys, even though me and my cousin were both 20, my brother was 22 and so were his pals At the xmas night the other year bouncers refused to let us in because one guy was wearing a fleece jacket Nothing to do with it being a group of guys mid 20s-early 30s with no birds
Thats what puts me off going out in Glasgow, I prefer Edinburgh. Its not the bouncers fault though, they're just following daft orders. In the long run they'll lose a lot of business I shouldnt need interrogation getting into a bar, I should just be allowed to stroll in freely. The Call Lane area in Leeds is very pretentious, the bouncers dont let "groups of guys" in. Most the guys in they bars are skinny jeans and primark shirt wearing plebs that couldnt pull their hamstring so there's no point in having birds in there anyway. Only been back once since they refused me and my pals from Scotland last easter, and I managed to get flung out for threatening to steal the barman's dinner daft prick couldnt take a joke. Thankfully the best bars up the top end of Leeds give you no hassle at all
Seeing that shes the only blue nose burrrd that will fit inside an xl Rangurrs tap she might be worth a length
