Hull
Went for a couple of beers last night with a mate from 25 years ago who moved away through work. This mate was a bit of a ladys man a piss artist and loved his hull city. But last night he was like an old man before his time.We are both 45 i still think iam 20 he was going on 60 we both got two kids mine a couple of years older both got a mortgage both got health problems. He could not understand how i was still in contact with all our mates from back then how we still meet up before and after games and stay out and go home pissed.kept telling me he doesn't have proper mates he has work mates and he talks to his neighbors but thats it.He even joked if it was still the same pair of samba i had on when he left.He looked miserable as sin more of less admitted he was fed up.And to cap it off he never even went to wembley because his wife and kids did not want to go.Think i will stay as i am

Tell him to get out of there like a bat outta Hell.

I can see why you avoided it for 25 years. I bet it'll be longer 'til the next one.<cool>

He is back to sort a family funeral out and goes back home monday i asked him to go to city on saturday for old time sake and meet up with some of his old mates. So instead of saying yes or no he got out his phone rang his wife and asked if it was ok she is not even in hull she didnt want to meet his family.Anyhow he is going now she said he can go.

nice of her to give him permission. I would have rung her up and said I'm going to the football on Saturday, so I won't be able to answer my phone between 1 and 7pm while I'm getting drunk and watching football

when a lass i'm seein starts moanin about been at football or cricket all day saturday......thats the momment i start plottin her exit

The most important thing i've learnt from my parents is that Marriage is a bad idea.
