    even if we could afford him (very doubtful) why would he come to us? a newly promoted team for a team that has finished 5th, doesnt look to be selling much of its squad but trying to add to it, and he is first choice?

    Who, Santon? No chance. He's a starter for Newcastle and will be playing in Europe this season. No reason for him to leave.

    A couple of 'ITK'ers' from that big saints forum say Gazzaniga has signed a 4 year deal. They were first with the Steven Davis deal so watch this space...
