AVB = OMG. Absolute dross. When he left us we were 3-1 down to Napoli and going nowhere. Clueless, and the players knew it. He has now found his level. Enjoy!
Yep. Without a trophy in sight. Congratulations. His level. 2 positions and 5 points above you...
Yep. Without a trophy in sight. Congratulations.
Luck? Barca away. 2-0 down and down to 10 men? Bayern away? Luck? Wake up and smell the coffee fool. And sheer blind luck that your still in a European trophy.

Clearly we're not going to agree but all I'll say is - there's nothing wrong with playing to your team's strengths. It may not be pretty, it may not be fluent, slick, fast paced football, but if counter attacking football and defending like stalwarts is what suits your team best and gets you results, then there's nothing wrong with that.
You wouldn't be complaining if Spurs won the Champions League by playing that kind of football - that is the point. You would bask and revel in your club's glory. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves.
I'm not sure we're really disagreeing at all. What I said is that, yes, if Tottenham parked the bus for an entire season and won the Prem (or the CL), my first reaction would be, great, we won. But I'd be disappointed in Spurs for playing like that for a long stretch (one or two games would be okay, if there was a good reason for it), and I wouldn't be all that satisfied in winning with no style. Most people would rather win at all costs. A decent number care enough about winning with style that they wouldn't really be happy doing it otherwise.
Ifs and buts. If Torres had the penalty decision just before Bayern were awarded theirs then there wouldn't have been extra time.Aye, a semi final is a semi final. I'm not disputing the fact you got to the final, but if Bayern put away one of those sitters, we'd be having a different conversation wouldn't we?
Not as good as we think we are but still good enough to do you lot 5-1 in a FA Cup semi final though.your probaby right Ammaar, but Chelsea were still lucky on the night, that Gomez had left his scoring boots at home, and for Chelsea to have to play like that proves they are not as good as thier fans think they are
don't know what you posted all i have is a red cross, not that i'm intrested
