Boycott the Norwich Board

I feel for Dave and maestro in a way, because while they have people like Beefy their rules are a mockery and this situation will keep arising. Beefy and Carra keep trying to bait a reaction on our board, but to their credit our guys they just keep it chilled because they know the roles will be reversed at sometime!

either way, i would hope all rules enforced would apply to any forum user whether they are your own or visiting.
 
Rules should be consistently applied by a moderator on a board. Agreed.

The problem arises when some boards have different rules, and where behaviour on one board is different to that deemed acceptable on another. As evidence (and I await the flames already...) go over to the Celtic and Rangers boards - these have been ridiculous at times, such is the bile that gets thrown by fans on both sides.

It may well be that one board is more tolerant of wumming and takes a more hands-off approach than another board does. Therefore (just as an example) beefy comes on here and wums, and we chase him off, but don't ban him from our board. Swords goes over to the Norwich board and acts in exactly the same way, but the rules are different and he gets banned.
 
What a mass debate ... I love our board and how it has developed. I certainly dislike the type of poster who sits, ponders and then composes a load of opinionated bollocks as some wannabe board sheet journalist ... these are the truly deluded ... I like Sword's banter and we are all capable of being what is defined as a WUM. Wake up it's 2012 and as forum develop they are not just a place in cyberspace where everyone tries to outdo each other in terms of writing skills with flowery composition and slick and sharp punctuation ... dinosaurs.

Crash Bang Wallop gets my vote every time... **** the standards and use the freedom we have all been given... This Bird bloke seems to be one of the above and in love with the power of it all. Having been in the digital industry for 30 years its laughable hows these everyday tools we all have at our disposal have brought into this the same basic instincts of powerful greedy man. I call for the Norwich board to be closed until they have got rid of this tyrant

I sometimes think that a lot gets typed on Not606 before one's brain is engaged.

Doing away with the wum's upon any board is a ridiculous idea though, how many of us (QPR or Norwich fan browsing this board) are waiting to beat the other at Carrow Road?
I'm sure the fall out of that game will be immense........

As for not posting on the Norwich board, I will continue with this gesture as like I said before some posters there cannot engage brain and have a reasonable debate.

1. Well, yes, I would imagine that beating you home and away, as well as gaining more points over the season, indicates that Norwich are the better team (or at least were, last season)!

2. I'm glad you've been here. That's nice for you. We don't have anything to do with Ipswich or Lowestoft though!

3. I would argue it's more original than your name based on your location, yes

4. Feel free to come over! There are various fans from other teams who contribute well to our board!
 
I got a little bored so have not read it all but..

Beefy is banned from this board so some comments are simply not true.


Dave is a very good mod and if he says ban I ban, I trust his judgement.

Each board is run how the fans of that club want it, abuse, racism, threats are not allowed on any, after that its down to each board.

Board are like pubs, break their rules and you are barred, if you don't like the rules find a new pub, if you go to wind up you may get punched.

You can go on forever on this thread but I would say the OP shows why he is banned from that board, he will be until a Norwich mod says lift the ban.

Hope that makes it clear but carry on if its what you want, I'm off.
 
well i live in suffolk, and say forget the norwich board and just avoid norwich completely! and norfolk for that matter, webbed footed fools the lot of them!!

You've just stumbled in on the biggest circus going - the not606 QPR/Swords fiasco - welcome but beware!

Good luck to you guys for the season and I have no doubt my missus will drag me to a couple of games (although she's not escaping a pilgrimage to LR this year).

Thany and let me congratulate you on getting the numeracy correct. 1-4 must be a challenge when you include 2 & 3

As for the better team..how did you get on the season previous to last..?
How do you think you wil do this season with your coming and goings? Be very surprised if you are stil in the league to be honest.

You have plenty to do with Ipswich and lowestoft. And thanks but i really didnt want to go there. Was forced as a kid by my parents..

Beefy's comments were pretty funny to be fair QPR.

I never really had any problems with swords, I enjoy the banter on the forum to be honest, make me laugh and therefore my workday slightly mor.

But this thread is a little bit pathetic, you got banned of a board. get over it.
