Not sure what everyone else on here thinks, but there seems to be a hell of a lot of Saints fans on twitter, young and old, who constantly bombard 'people in the know' and professional journalists quite literally every day with the same question.

It makes for rather embarassing reading, they come across like little children asking their parents if they have bought what they want for Christmas yet. Can't a certain number of saints fans get it into their heads that, if it happens, it happens? And if it doesn't, it doesn't!?!

I will occasionally ask something (if they have tweeted about a Saints story in order to understand better or find out a little more) but there are some 24/7 interrogating on there. I don't know if you're aware of him (probably are!) or if he is on here, but Harty Saint is awful.

I agree with you completely... it's embarrassing. I like your comparison of kids asking what their Christmas presents are, very accurate with how over the top some people on Twitter go.

I don't know what makes them think they'll actually get an answer. Like these people are just going to blab this information to some random person on Twitter.

Harty Saint.... Oh dear he's embarrassing. He somehow has about 1,000 followers, yet tweets complete drivel.

Harry Saint tweets every 10 minutes asking about transfers and has got 999 followers and I've got around 40, I might copy him to get more followers :emoticon-0116-evilg

Hartysaintboy isn't it? Bloody annoying. I don't know what's worse with those types of twitter users, the constant hounding or horrific grammar.

Speaking of Bart, he was actually there, presumably seeing some of his old friends.

Ahhh good spot. I was trying to work out if it was Bart that I saw considering he is no longer with us. Also saw Chamberlain up in the directors box sat next to Lallana. Good to see him come down even if he wasn't playing.

There you are. He jabbers on about transfers on there all the fecking time. And RT's EVERYTHING.

Love his tweet 2 hours ago though. Check that one out for the cringe-factor. If it isn't cringey in itself to say that. Ah well.
