Surely this can only be beneficial to Scottish football in the lower leagues? Rangers will bring a stink load of fans to every game, their supporters will turn up to see their team winning most weeks so everybody wins, no?
Aberdeen fans forum are calling Aug 11 sellout Saturday !!! Celtic not playing and Rangers gone they want every spl game to be a sell out to show Scottish football dosn't need the old firm . Hibs / hearts a wee chance , Aberdeen / Roos county , Dundee / st mirren a 50 % chance but the other two games ict / killie and Motherwell / st Johnstone no chance .

They should call it remeberance Saturday Harold. Because by the time we get back in amongst you every team, including your own one, will not be as strong as it will be on the opening Saturday of the coming season. These are your halcyon days Harry enjoy
It's funny how all the important stages in Downfall A Rangers Story happened on memorable dates St Valentine Day 14 Feb 2011 Administration Glorious 12th June liquidation (doesn't count I know) Independence Day 4th July 2011 Spl say no Friday 13th July Sfl say no It's almost as if the universe is a Tim
But it didn't rain on bonfire night, so we could burn King Willies paymaster. <neversetfootinardoyneagain>
Is that the same Kilmarnock that won the cup last season? You would have thought there would have been a decrease.

Aye, Spend ****in months telling us that liquidation is the end and then when it happens change the rules I'm just off to woolworths to get some pick n' mix. Rangers no longer exist. The only people who will tell you any different will be the same ****s who have been telling you lies for months. Lets line up, the ones who are telling you this is still Rangers? The fans, ****ing idiots who didn't see this coming. The media, who have a vested interest in seeing Rainjurs still going and a track record of failure in this matter. Charlie Green.....can we forget about that time when he said failure to get a cva would mean the end of history. Who else? The club is no more and the the assets were sold off. The league position wasn't transferred from Rangers but yet you still want to believe. That is fine. It was predicted months and months ago that this exact scenario would play out. Rangers fans would delude themselves that the carcass od Rangers would be treated as the same club. Go ahead. You are only deluding yourselves. It isn't going to make me laugh any less hard at you.
So, what are we going to be called then? We keep the badge etc, but do we keep the name Rangers FC(yeah yeah, it is The Rangers FC, no that is just the company) As a mucker of mine said to me a few months ago, he used to go by the name of Fernando(he loved ABBA), " I couldn't give a **** what happens, I'll still hate fenians". Well, as you can imagine, I was flaggergasted by such remarks, but I agree totally with him. FTP!!!
I think we (the supporters) will decide if they are still Rangers (they are) or not, not some bog-trotting chimp who was born in North London, yet supports a Scottish team and who lives in Direland You think your comments are relevant? You're an insignificant onlooker. Stick to supporting your local team...oh, you're probably confused by that, aren't you? Bye, bye, spud-sooker
A football club (any football club) is it's supporters, made up mostly of members of the local community, past and present. But you couldn't possibly understand this, being as you "support" a club from a country you appear to have no connection with. Anyway, I refer you to the example of AFC Wimbledon, born from the ashes of the old Wimbledon FC. Wimbledon still has a football club because the fans (mostly people connected by birth or family to south west London) say so. The same applies to Rangers - if it's supporters say the club exists, and are willing to pay to watch them play, then the club exists. Of course, anyone with no connection to Glasgow has no business supporting either Rangers or Celtic. Sorry it takes an Englishman to tell you this.
