Yes! and I used to chat with terry, down at Saint Helen's when watching the whites! He was then a big whites supporter in those days (90's) He never got payed much for his work with Dire Straits though, the band were rather mean with musicians they hired, (He was never officially made part of the band) he only got payed the basic Musicians rate, hard to believe I know but true, was talking to their sound engineer down my local (Newport Boy now living on North Gower), who was on tour quite often in those days, and he didn't half fill me in on how mean some of these bands were, like Dire straits...........
