I think Sherwood is more a suited/behind the scenes/get contracts sorted kinda guy; whereas Freund is the head of working with the youth, ensuring the footballing philosophy is instilled from day one at the academy and informing AVB on who is ready for the step up to the firsts.....at a guess

The role of a no.2 is quite vague I think, I'm sure Harry picked Bond just for a lift and share the squirt! even when he was at home after his op, he still picked the team over the phone.

I wanted Loewe as our coach because of my respect for German football. I thought a German was right for us and I feel a lot better now that Freund is on board.

Anybody know what Les Ferdinand's role is, he seem to be still there?

Spurs are being very cagey about the roles of Sherwood and Ferdinand. The talk is that Sherwood's title will be "Sporting Director", whilst Ferdinand will become more involved with the Next Gen group. Ferdinand has been working on a part time basis and without a contract, and I think the club are hoping to get him board on a more permanent arrangement.

If there is no announcement clarifying their roles between now and the end of the weekend, then I would imagine things might become clearer on Monday evening when we see who is in charge of the Spurs xi at Kingstonian.

Sounds extremely enthusiastic and happy to be back.
Looks like he wants to continue his work with youth players.
You can hear how fond of the club he is.
