http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footballnation/football-news/2012/07/12/91466-31380462/ Cardiff City are ready for final talks with former owner Sam Hammam to settle the Langston debt â if the £10m quoted is genuine. âBut it appears that isnât the case and Langston want £15m which is more challenging.â That could be broken down as £10m immediately plus a £5m bonus after promotion.
Starting to think hes more of a tit. Sooner he's gone the better. 10mill downpayment, pay him anything else when we can be bothered...
A week ago AAMB make a big play that Sam wanted £10m by the end of July and would then walk away. Now it's £15m.
I'm sick of the sound of his name. We should tell him what we are going to pay and let him whistle for the rest.
how much do we actually owe langston? is this a settlement to pay a lot less in exchange for a shorter payment period? whats this got to do with hammam when its langston who are owed? as you may gather i havent a clue whats going on
Did anybody really think it would be that easy to get rid of Sam? He's as slippery as an eel. He'll quite likely go right to the wire with any deal (as he has done before with City, remember the payment that we thought was getting rid of him before) and then ask for a few million more. It's what he does. Maybe he's paying Annis commission on any deal he makes for being his spokesperson.
pay him his 15 million and he will leave you alone its as simple as that from tan who was suppose to pay all debts in exchange for rebranding.. thats one promise broken already.......beware be very aware.....it dont look good...
If only it were that easy. How you doing Dai? No promises broken mate as VT said he would manage and agree ways to settle the debts. It's all still at the negotiating stage, and in fairness to VT he would have had all this settled by now if Sam didn't keep moving the posts. As for it not looking good, it's looking a darn sight better than it did a couple of seasons ago. It'll get sorted and in the meantime we continue to develop the squad and move the club forward at all levels.
I agree, this man would be history if he managed to keep his mind made up about what he wants. Although thanks again jacks for your concern. Showing how much you care about the capitals football club. I'd rather have Tan than the muppet who is the reason for this thread, Tan appears to have morals
SKM. The whole point is that sam is langstone. He arranged this company with his own money, then leant the money to himself as Cardiff city. So he took it out of one pocket, put it in another and signed a contract for an exhorbitant interest rate. all losers except Sam. Until the Malasians came along and their accountants went through the deal with a fine tooth comb and advised that it was rubbish and if he went to court he'd lose, which gives VT bargaining position. Remember Sam has already taken City (Peter Ridsdale) to court once to get an injuction to get his money back and the Judge told him if he went to high court he'd lose. He is not in as strong a place as he likes people to think he is. There is a lot of bulls**t in there.
