Nice to have some Saints football back again eve if it is just a friendly. Teams, tactics, opposition... discuss all here.

Hope Chamberlain gets a good reception too.

Think we'll see 2 different teams.

Team 1:

Team 1 to do what we're used to and team 2 to mix it up a bit.
 
Is Seaborne still not ready for the first team?, if he is then I expect him to play at some point in the day. Personally I think NA will be more experimental against Anderlect and play a "stronger" team against Arsenal. I agree that Chambo should get a warm reception, the day is all about celebration and booing a player would spoil the day IMO.

Plus booing a player just for leaving is ridiculously petty.
 
Guly??? Also I expect a few more youngsters will play so that most only have to play 45 minutes.
 
How many subs do the teams get? I'd like to see almost two separate teams but with one GK and maybe 3 CB that is unlikely. Hopefully all the strikers get a chance, although Lee may not be fit. I'd like to see Guly get some time behind the strikers.
 
Got no idea who will play, but every player will only play in one of the games like last year. We will end up with a youngster or two at CB, I don't expect Fonte and Hooiveld to play together, due to the lack of experience in the other pairing. It will be interesting to see if Puncheon, Hammond, Butterfield or Harding play. Hoping that Forecast dosen't play <whistle>

As many as they like, in fact as far as the rules are concerned this is just a gathering of a few blokes and some guys from Belgium that has nothing to do with sport! The fact that they are all pretty decent at football and might just happen to play a few mini matches is purely coincidence. It does make it a little more interesting from an insurance/organisation standpoint anyway.

Guly could well play. There just wasn't space in my 22. I don't really like him as a winger or a striker. Move a few people around and it could work.

Most of the youngsters are involved in the development squad and I'd guess we only brought 4 up to the first team so that we can give them all game time.
 
HI, I am coming on Saturday with my family, I haven't brought them to a game with me before with me. Please can somebody help me with a family pub near to the ground? As i always end up at the Prince Albert.

Great news. I don't see him as a PL defender but to just see him pull on a Saints shirt and play for our first team against is superb.
