Agree, It is clear to me that if Rodgers had wanted Gylfi, our board would have backed him, it looks like Rodgers made a stand, treating the clubs money as his own. Everything I have seen from Rodgers so far has really filled me with optimism.
But of course, results on the pitch are all that really matter.
He's made all the right noises I hope the players dig in and get behind him on he pitch.
