    Nothing much but I have to have regular check-ups and was kept in last night for some tests.

    Not my favourite way to spend a Friday evening I can tell you.

    No, I bet.

    An elder brother has a form of leukaemia, in remission, which means he has to have regular check-ups and blood tests, for white cell counts. If he gets the slightest sniffle the NHS swings into action, rather impressively.

    A winger doesn't need a Beckham-esque cross if he gets in behind, just the ability to get the ball out of his feet quickly. Anything across the 6 yard box is dangerous and playing that ball shouldn't take a whole lot of skill if the winger is well beyond his man. His pace will be an asset if he doesn't have to worry about defending or hugging the touchline.

    Indeed and I think he's got the ability to put in dangerous balls, it's just that when he has got himself into positions to feed the strikers, he has either had to wait for them to catch up, and then got tackled, or he has put in a ball without looking and missed all the runners. That's what I think would improve given game time, he will learn where to put the ball and the other players will learn where he is going to put it.

    I read that, but he could have glanced through the threads .... I know, harsh. i was rushed into hospital last Sunday (early hours)...still managed to check before I posted :-o
