He really didn't. The Reading goal was the one time I was impressed with him all year. All he did was come on and run about a lot without any real direction or purpose before putting in a poor cross or a terrible shot. Premier League defenders will have him in their pocket all game, most Championship defenders did.

Well he always looked a threat when playing out wide with the ball at his feet, just didn't produced enough to really grasp a starting place in the team. I really think next year could be his year, just got a feeling.

How? His quality of final ball is among the worst I've seen and without any kind of composure or direction with the ball at his feet, I don't see how he can make any sort of an impact against Premier League defenders.

The only reason he "looked a threat" is because you never knew what he was going to do, because he'd start running in circles giving defenders all the time in the world to get ready for the (normally terrible) ball he'd put in.

He doesn't look like he could use his left foot ever...

Had a bit of skill though

You learn by playing better players and training with them. He's still only 25, he can improve and will, in my opinion.

He's got a lot to learn both mentally and technically, I've always been quite harsh on Adomah but I'd rather him than De Ridder because at least he's got a better final ball, and is younger.

De Ridder wasn't great, but wasn't as bad as some (Dan) have made out. I agree though that a Premier League full back would have him in his pocket.

Based on last years form I agree but some play better in their second season and against better opposition. To be fair it also takes time to settle. He may surprise us yet!

Not speaking about de Ridder particularly, but we may be surprised who can step up and who can't. Some of our better players may be at their peak and are better as large fish in small ponds.

He played RB against Cov in the cup and did ok... but it was Cov in the cup. He played RB against Leicester and they should have played me to be frank. He was very poor that night. I am not anti-Harding, but as a RB.. oh no. I think he may have played their in the Paint trophy final too, and did well, but a level down that.

David Nugent made Harding look like a pub league player that night.

At least for 5 minutes until you need to sit down and rest. Pushing that zimmerframe up and down the flank is tiring work.

ah that's where you are wrong. It's too far out to the flanks. I just stay near the centre circle, only moving out when there is a centre to the other team!!!
