Unless there is a fitness problem it sounds like someone at Watford doesn't know what they are doing.
Bad move on their part, he would be a quality keeper for them. Hope he does find a club soon, he deserves better than to be second-fiddle to another keeper as he was massively unlucky that he was up against a quality keeper in Marshall here. I actually rated him as one of the better keepers in the Championship, just Marshall was slightly better.
It could be that Jonathan Bond will step up to be our second keeper (behind whoever Udinese give us), which would mean that we don't need Heaton or Loach. 19 is a bit young for a keeper, but Malky put him in matchday squads ahead of Richard Lee when he was 16, he was called up to the full Wales squad when he was 17, and at 18 he played in League Two, League One and the Championship. I think his target would be a small run of games this season.

Sadly this just looks like a space filling rehash of the last rumour, nothing 'new' as such in the story. Obviously like the majority of the rest of us I really hope it does happen.
Not being pedantic but it cannot be a 'transfer' as such because City cannot transfer him as he has no contract with City. He's a free agent. As for City, this is turning out to be lack lustre and rather meek pre season transfer period. I seriously will think twice about bothering to go to see Gestade, Miller, Earnshaw as our strikers and Conway as our winger. None are good enough. Mutch was a promising start I thought to a decent flurry of decent signings with the Malaysians promise of funds for Mackay. Not so. All we have had is a series of non stories about Bellamy, some Korean and other rumours. Very very disappointing. Mid table at best beckons at the moment.
