Strange one this! Di Resta and Hammilton have split. Hammilton secured Di Resta's seat with FI in 2010 and the split seems to have come out of the blue. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/mo...r-Anthony-Hamilton-on-eve-of-Silverstone.html No comments have been made as of yet, but no doubt the rumours will rumble on over the GP weekend.
To me this suggests he's moving next year to somewhere Hamilton Snr thinks he shouldn't be moving to.
Mercedes would be the logical guess, theough maybe they've just fallen out, and Paul isn't going anywhere?
Surely its so he can start looking after Lewis' interests again? Conflict of interest if he managed PDR who could be vying for the same seats at Mclaren et al. On a side note, has PDR done anything to suggest that he should get a big drive over some of the other midfield team drivers?
I doubt Lewis would sack Simon Fuller and bring his Dad back, perhaps di Resta fears Anthony might not get him a drive if Lewis wants the same one though. Yes. He's been excellent this year, at least 4th best in my opinion, if he keeps it up he deserves a better drive next season, especially when you look at some of the drivers currently occupying better seats than di Resta.
Apparently Di Resta sacked Hammilton and we can speculate on the reasons why. However, he is about to appoint JB's manager and Lewis refused to do a photo shoot in Valencia with Di Resta because he was disgusted in how is father had been treated! Ironic?
