After the recent upsurge in Stoke's last few performances, i'm feeling quitely confident that we can actually do it, & get to our first ever FA Cup final.

Is this the reason why this board has been so quiet this week?

Nobody dare mention Wembley, in case it jinxes us?

Well i've just mentioned it, so come on Stoke I KNOW WE CAN DO IT.

    Plus we WILL stay up.

I agree we are playing well currently. If (big word in sport) we attack as well as have done recently then we have every chance. However Elmander and Davies are big handfuls up top and the Korean lad (think that's where he's from) on the right wing will need taming, and Cahill will need tightly marking from set pieces. Bolton are still a very good team, however if (big word as i've said) we play half as well as we did against Chelsea then I think we'll win. Obviously I hope we do play that well, but we may not. It should be a good game, it's always a battle when Bolton and Stoke meet, even though both play slightly better football then they used to. I just hope we mark Davies and Elmander better than we marked Crouch as they are both massive handfuls.

We have a chance a very good chance. In recent weeks the team that 'only scores from a throw in' has been scoring some of the best goals to grace the Premier League this season. Some of our players have been playing the football of their lives . Forget the Spurs result - the team has found balance and confidence lately and have been a real pleasure to watch.
I was at the semi-final replay at Villa Park in the early 70s. Think it was 2-0 to Arsenal. The coldest, saddest night I can ever remember. The pain of that evening is still with me.
If we can beat Bolton on Sunday..........

    Sutton Potter,
Of course we can win it mate! <ok>
I too was at BOTH of our semi finals in the 70s and correct it hurt like heck, still does when I dare too think about it.

Still, SARGEANT get a grip lad. WE CAN do it mate. Why not be possitive? Cos Bolton will (fancy it) the win, just as much as many Stoke fans wlll. They too are playing well but it's all about on the day Sgt.

Let's be upbeat I can't see any other way to look at it if I'm honest. It's a one off game and I'm sure the lads won't let us down. So, up and at em, play has we have done recently and Bolton will worry about us, as much as I suppose T.P. will about their line up.

Cos it could go either way and If is actually the longest word it the dictionary Sgt. <laugh>

    Let's all have a Barbi, let's all have a Barbi <whistle>

I really don't see what was remotely negative about my post. I was just giving my opinion on the game, I don't see anything negative in there at all.
