You won't know until it is announced, because we behave with class and do our business behind closed doors. Like the username BTW<ok>

Yes, of course you do. Its never been a media free for all when Liverpool sign players.

Piles of **** on the other hand, all the time. Like that lanky streak of piss you signed one January.

United have apparently filed papers to be floated on the New York Stock Exchange.

The papers show that their company appears to be registered in the Cayman islands...does this mean that they have been avoiding UK tax regulations for years???

<ok>

If their debt is managable and receding by the year why the panic and the risk in a poor finacial climate that could get worse?

I read on twitter a few quotes from the actual document that was filed...it was stuff like, "Champions League football cannot be guaranteed...", "we expect a downturn after SAF goes..."

I don't know whether these are true as the document is 280 odd pages long, but it is interesting that they are looking at a new way of reducing the debt...I imagine that they realise that they cannot feasibly compete with the debt that they have, just a guess mind! And yes, it seems quite risky given the current climate!

Cheers BillyBob.

I'll leave it to the financial wizards on here to discuss the plusses and minuses of this 'risky' move by Utd.

Lifted this quote from Twitter...

"Seán O'Sullivan ‏@OSullivanMUFC
Document also states that between 2009 and 2011, #MUFC paid £244.916m in INTEREST on the debt. Sickening."

It's far too early to make any informed comment about this proposed floatation. The initial figures are probably very misleading. I'll wait to see what transpires.

Interesting that they've now gone to Wall Street when their original Asian float was broadcast as being intended to "cement their relationship with their Asian supporters".

Obviously I'm not a conspiracy agent but is there the tiny sound of PIC PIC PIC behind all of this?

^^^^^

That figure could have bought them Aguero and Van Persie and Nasri for £120M for instance and paid the three of them wages of 150k a week for the next 5 years...and still have £7 Million left to spend on another Bebe!

Shocking! <ok>

Also from Twitter...

The document discloses that #mufc paid loans of £1.7m each to Malcolm Glazer's six children for 'general personal purposes'.

I can't really see a problem with that. A few of the kids are directors in United so I can't see what's unusual about them having overdrawn directors loan accounts ??
