Whatever happens....it will be an intresting season for Spurs..and thanks for the sentiments Wigger, Gonzo...i think you boys are in for a similar ride to us.
I'm ITK! I'm ITK! I'm ITK! I'm ITK! I'm ITK! FACT! Welcome Andre, wasn't my first choice by any means though you'll have my full support! AVB's Blue & White Army!
I think so, we both have young managers with clear ideas about football. I imagine it will take both of them time to get the squad into the shape that they want but the rewards should be worth it.
Because the manager that replaced Benitez took them to the next level, didn't they? Oh, wait, they took them to the previous level - the one they were at when Roy Evans was in charge...
Numbnut...have Liverpoo recently sacked the best manager you and your supporters claimed to have in KD? and instead you go for someone who's won....erm! You must put in an awful lot of practice to be such a ****er.
Well now us yids know who our boss is what do we think about it I for one am quite happy I think the young guys will get more of a chance !!!
Well now has this happened before,I cannot think of a time when a successful manager left his homeland to manage a club, get sacked after 4 months and then join another club in the same foreign country. It's all unprecedented as far as I know which makes us an unknown quantity for a while. Nobody can be certain what we will do. I don't want to be runaway leaders in the first months because they rarely last the pace as recent teams like City and Chelsea have shown. Both were a long way clear and were caught. If he keeps us in touch with the leaders I'll be happy and balls to Arsenal, they don't enter into anything at the moment.
Can't say I'm the merriest of tent dwelling persons with this appointment, but I'm willing to give him a chance. I personally felt 'Arry should have been given 1 more season, what with the court and England distractions out of the way.
And I felt it was time for him to move on because of the court and England. AVB wants to bring in a lot of new faces, some I've seen and some I haven't. I'm going to keep quiet on our prospects to other team's supporters because of egg on face if it all goes wrong. I have never been more uncertain of the future than at this moment.
How big is this fence Notso, because I'm sure 90% of the board is on it right now. We don't do big fences in Wales, mostly picket fences. So there isn't much room to sit, and even when you do, a sharp bit of wood pokes you up the arse. So it's nice to be able to sit on a fully formed fence for once. Although I'd much rather be convinced when he wins us the Champions League. That could get everyone back off the fence. Which is probably better in the long run. Fences aren't the most structurally sound of walling, especially when most of the Spurs support is on it. So no pressure AVB, we have a creaking fence here.
Whatever happens it will be an interesting season. I expect a few hiccups as the players adapt to new demands.
