Sorry for voicing my opinion. I will in future refrain from such activites.

Although since when did age ever mean that you couldnt actually have a reasonable point, IDK.

Im still yet to hear an actual counter point.

In vino veritas. age has nothing to do with debate, lack of knowledge does. But you are free in this country to say your bit, and welcome. The fact that we dont always agree, is called debate, not arguement. alcohol is a great friend of mine, so I am not realy quallified to make a case against it. so chin up pal , keep the faith, but above all Keep an open mind, I only posted a controversial thread, but with a damn site of truth in it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,is all.

Its not the naming of something that makes it racist its the context.White pride day or White History Month wouldn't be used to celebrate the culture but used to suggest superiority .The reason there are Black colleges, Black History Month etc in the USofA are that Blacks, Hispanics etc have been marginalized and excluded by a predominantly white ruling class and this was the only way they could start to change things to try and make things equal so therefore are not Racist. If they however where been used to oppress and marginalize whites then they would be.Black college cannot exclude anyone because they are white as such a thing is illegal.

Unfortunately this is how society is today one rule for one and not the other.

Few month's back I was in a local bar (wearing an England top) having some banter with other footy fans who were
local.

Suddenly for some unknown reason I got verbally abused and racially abused.

This came from a coloured person, I can't really go into too much detail of what filth was pouring from their mouth(s) but it wasn't pleasant, I did not retaliate whatsoever.

Eventually I was asked to leave, I've never been back to that bar.

I put it down to being white and English. Like I said I did not retaliate, though people have mentioned how did I not
react to that amount of abuse. But when you live in a country such as Africa you have to learn that certain people
'Hold the Racist Card'.

So you have to accept it's common knowledge.

I will come out and just say it... soon, being a white man will be the ethnic minority. We will have it the hardest, as has been mentioned if we say anything about people skin color, creed or race, we will be called racist/facists/neo nazi's, and say anything about women we become sexist and chauvinistic.

I personally dont give a **** about a persons race or religion. I judge someones actions, not their color or where they're from.

Its a bit silly imo. the White population is insanely priviledged in relation to other ethnicitys.

White History month for example. The vast vsat vast majority of history is very euro/caucasion centric. This is simply because it is those people who wrote it.

Therefore it is important to recognise the achievements of people who would not otherwise be mentioned in the history books.

Thats my two penneths worth. feel free to disagree thou

Try living in Liecester.....................................and say it again.

My cousins live in Leicester

What he says is correct, the only person you can make a joke about now is a straight WASP. However I think the subjugation we dished out to these races in the past goes some way to explain why we need to watch our P's and Q's

Heads up that the term "Coloured" is considered a racist , those who've used it may be unaware.

Seems to me that we are treading on 'eggshells' here, I used that word in my previous reply, so what term are you allowed to use? 'The person who racially abused me for being white, was of a dark complexion' is that politically
correct?

I do find the purpose of the statement divisive but its content is absolutely true.

Any discrimination including racial, religious belief or sexual orientation is abhorrent and should be condemned at all levels, I am extremely proud of our multicultural society but the basic tenets of a “British” society are white, heterosexual Christian and we should not be castigated for promoting those principles.

What exactly is a white tenet... compulsory sunblock??????

I'm not offended by the term, infact til recently I didn't know it was racist myself.
Do you know why it's viewed as racist?

No I don't, but in this day and age, I'm not suprised by it.

I think a call for appropriate 'sign language' should be used amongst us, so not to cause such 'so called offence'.
Maybe that's the answer.
