I used to go to the cinema all the time when I was younger. Not been since Borat or Transformers 1 (whichever was most recent)

It's a ****ing rip-off and alway full of annoying teenagers who **** me off. Plus you can't smoke joints and drink tinnies during the film like you can at home.

Venom the grosvenor in Ashton Lane is good. The halls have maybe 30 seats and they're all big comfy leather armchairs with couches at the back. Theres a bar as well so you can take booze in with you <ok> I hate the Cineworld and UCI ones, just a bunch of wee fannies that can't shut up for more than 2 minutes

I remember going to the cinema to see Sweet Home Alabama because it was 'her night to choose' and we ended up leaving half way through the film to run back to the house for a shag after getting a bit frisky due to horrendous boredom.

You can get a pint of beer with your popcorn in Malta - it's ****ing genius and I'm shocked and appalled that you can't do the same thing in the UK.

I'll second that <ok> when my ex bird lived at the student village up near Firhill we used to go there to see films. Less bawbags, more space and you can get pished. Its how cinema should be <ok>

I went to see "Shakespeare in Love" with a lassie when I was about 16 for Valentines Day. We got the bus from Invergordon to Inverness then another bus out to the Cinema at the retail park. About half an hour in I told her I was going to the toilet. I ****ed off home and left her there, she was ****ing ripping with me the next day in school and barely said two words to me over the next couple of years. Daft bitch; thinking I would waste two hours of my time watching that pish for a small chance of getting my hole.

Mick, I just said that you can take pints in with you in Ashton Lane cinema <doh>

Me and my two brothers went to see the Dark Knight and we took 16 stubby cans of heineken with us. An usher came and was shining the torch on the people behind us for making too much noise and ended up chucking them out and leaving us <laugh> Every so often you would hear a 'kssshhhhhhh'. We tried to keep it for the quiet bits to open the cans <laugh>

I should have said, the heineken day was in East Kilbride, not the grosvenor.

I think it's a fiver for a seat, or you can book the couch for 11 or 12 quid. I've never taken my own booze in, just bought pints from the bar. Pretty reasonable prices as well, especially for Ashton Lane.

I seen Gran Torino there and had a good few Peronis through the movie <ok>
