http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18677776 good luck to zola, could be a good move for him, we will all watch with interest and start supporting watford a little bit
Its lovely to know Franco's back in UK football! I'll be checking out Watfords results through the season now and I really hope they do well! Come on the Hornets!!!
Yes for sure. I had mixed feelings when he was at West Ham, now I can support him without a guilty conscience.
My home town & used to watch them as a young kid. Couldn't abide them when Taylor took over! Will take a little interest in them now!
As a Watford supporter and a Chelsea fan (these two words are very different in my eyes) on the side, it's nice to see the support is mutual! Hopefully we'll be able to reciprocate Udinese's and Granada's success, both owned by the Pozzo's, and get up to and stay up in the premiership soon. I look forward to having Chelsea back at the vic, as last time that happened Kalou scored an injury time header, if memory serves, and I was gutted. I wonder if any of you remember this http://tinyurl.com/d8dz3rc
Yeh I remember that... A great run but couldn't stay up! I wish you well. Got lots of mates that are Watford fans and it's normally a good day out as we would get quite a big allocation. The championship is a very tough league to get out of though and becoming more and more challenging.
No, you're just too young, naive and much of a dullard to comprehend what a glory hunter is as well as having no clue whatsoever about football.
Ouch. A glory hunter= a Chelsea fan not from South West London, that should support a ****ter, more local team.
Ouch? Wasn't intended to hurt, it was a fact. A glory hunter = a FAN who does not attend games and supports a club purely because of it's success. I agree that people should support their team but your definition is wrong.
That definition doesn't really work does it? So you'll call someone a glory hunter if they aren't from the teams area, but if they do support the local team you will call their team '****'. That actually encourages glory hunting as being called a glory hunter is probably preferable to having the team you support called '****'.
So apparently our fanbase should be restricted to the population of SW London and split with Fulham Any Chelsea "supporters" here from West London? Glory hunting plastics the lot of you!
Pete Cockerty is still pedalling his lame arsed wummery I see. ****. Get in GFZ, West Ham ****ed it when they sacked you, true to form at least the useless pricks.
When I was 3 years old my best friend got me a Chelsea shirt for my birthday and so I would wear it around the house and as I grew up I would wear it to training and I had Zola printed on the back. When I first started to be properly interested football, which would have been 5-8 I guess my dad took me to a couple of carling cup and FA cup games. When I really grasped an understanding of football, around nine I wanted to support my local team, but I still have a fondness for Chelsea.
