just signed for us! have seen him a few times, thought he looked good every time...have i missed anything in the last season, why has he been released?

Wow really? I don't think many Gills fan will have a bad word to say about Den, he is one of the most hardworking forwards I have seen,he will run himself into the ground for you, but unfortunately for a forward he doesn't score enough goals and that is why we have let him go

lets just say nice guy, but poor wycombe, hopefully you didn't sign him for longer than six months !

now your embargo has been lifted you can sign fish, martin and frampton as well <laugh>

as long as we can have your manager <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

so him next to a goalscoring forward should work you think? sounds like a good signing!

Possibly... he isn't really a target man either, just a hard worker...
He will be a good squad player / impact sub but not the first name on the team sheet

Wycombe have signed some good players today! Apart from Dennis Oli, they have signed Sam Wood(Brentford), Gary Doherty(Charlton), Matthew Spring(Leyton Orient) and Lee Angol(Tottenham)! Wouldnt be surprised if Wycombe get promoted in the top 3!

Hmmm what to say say about Oli. Well you'll get some good games at the start and at the end of his contract so probably best he's only on a 1 year deal. Would only use as an impact sub though.

I'm sorry but Dennis Oli and professional football do not go together. His skill level on a scale of 1 to 10 is about 2. His first touch is akin to a baby elephants. He's done well to stay in the professional game, but thats probably due to his workrate and enthusiasm. He would struggle to keep his place in a Ryman Legue side. You have got a donkey, and you must be poor if he even makes your subs bench.

oh dear we haven't won the lotto with this one then <yikes>

Right guys I have just got home from work and only just heard the news, now you will have to excuse me because I have not read one word of this thread yet, simply because I cannot stop...

Oh dear, I'm in hysterics, sorry again everyone but this is the best craic I have had in ages.

I don't want to be negative, but dennis Oli is one of the worst players I've ever seen in a Gillingham shirt. Don't get me wrong he works hard and I really loved Dennis for it but he's just not a professional player. He is poor but you will love him for it. Can't hit a barn door with a selection of banjos or pick a five yard pass without several practice efforts. This said Dennis does try hard and wants to help out all he can, met his cousin in Ayia Napa recently and admited he was a bit crap but was a lovely guy, sums him up really!

works hard but essentially crap..... sounds like weve swapped strevens for a similar but worse option!!!
