i really feel dissapointed that this isn't the race that Frankel is being stepped up to 10f for.We all know that he is a brilliant miler he has destroyed everything over a mile for the past 2 seasons so what is then point in winning another sussex stakes its proves nothing we don't already know and he will prob only face 2 or 3 rivals.Surely the idea of keeping him in training is to explore his capabalities and how far his talent goes.He has done all he can do over a mile in this country he will not face rivals in the sussex that he hasn't faced before i really believe he should have been stepped up to 10f for this race and then kept at 10f or even if successful tried at 12f.The horse that Frankel is compared to as the greatest miler ever is Brigadier Gerard at this point in his career the Brigadier was being trained for a tilt at the King George.

Pretty sure if frankel wasnt trained by sir henry cecil then he would have been stepped up to 10f a while back! This season is turning out to be one of the most frustrating as no one seems willing to race anything against each other. Frankel is continuing to be raced against horses it has already beaten, aiden o'brien is just going to run camelot against 3 year olds that he has already beaten as he doesnt want to risk it losing! I cant remember one 'big clash' between two very good horses yet this season, last year we had canford vs frankel, canford vs goldikova, so you think vs workforce, so you think vs cirrus des aigles, there hasnt been one yet this season and i honestly cant see there being one in the coming months either!

If Frankel steps up to 10f but avoids SYT, Camelot and CDA I'll be pretty pissed off.

Did you know that in a modern day mobile phone there is more advanced technology than the shuttle that took neil armstrong to the moon in the 60's

I'm not sure what you saw Ron, we had nothing but up country racing today. Wagga Wagga, Port Macquarie and Mildura. I prefer these to the big meetings. We here on the Sunshine Coast had our big meeting on Saturday with the running of the local Guineas. Most of our meetings are midweek affairs, so a Saturday race day is big for us, those days are reserved for the capital cities.

It was a recording Cyc but it was on the Sunshine Coast. The something Cup (think it began with C). Then it went on to Wagga Wagga.

PS it was the Caloundra City Cup won by Shenzhou Steeds
