interesting take on our potential under AVB by Roy Keane. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...as-Boas-could-do-a-Cloughie-at-Tottenham.html
Code: If you carry on playing like that in Europe next season, at least massive amounts of energy will be saved as TV seta are switched off all over Europe. That's, of course, if people haven't slipped into a coma first!..
Joe, one of his transfer targets was Rob Green...improvement? not quite what we had mind. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18658639
I prefer these targets personally: http://www.goal.com/en/news/1862/pr...to-hand-andre-villas-boas-70m-transfer-budget
"On the day he was let go by Spurs, Harry Redknapp said they could be realistic title contenders within a couple of years. I donât believe that for a second." (Roy Keane, writing in The Sun, today)
from SSN this morning. Spurs still in "negotiations" with AVB. He's thought to have been the only person we spoke to and it's just a case of ironing out the last few bits of his contract. (such as confirmation of transfer budget and whether he can bring in his assistants from Porto). - announcement expected in "24 hours". (I sweat they've been saying that for about a week.) also, Tim Sherwood will NOT BE DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL. - Sky didn't have much more to say on that.
I don't think that comment is all that controversial do you HIAG? I think to break what is clearly a Manchester stronghold you need massive investment and a non-existent salary cap. That's why AMn City won the league. If we go on like we have for the nest couple of seasons I think we will be regulars of 3rd/4th. With (Arabian?) investment we could go on to win the league in a few seasons.
Lloris is apparently available "for the right price" according to Lyon, whilst we're linked with Dzagoev today, which is either genius or insanity.
A balanced, sensible article from Roy Keane? Perhaps he should stick to writing columns from now on, as it seems to suit him far better than management. His little spats with Carragher during the Euros were quite entertaining, though.
He slightly undermines himself by saying we released Gallas - given that hasn't been confirmed by the club or the player, at best it's merely wooly transfer speculation in that reliable tome of facts that is the Daily Mail.
Its official that spurs have sacked the best manager they had in decades and reaplaced him with a clown from Portugal who has only already made a show of himself in the prem Only the stupid spuds would do such a thing.
Bit early to be chirping up but that's fine provided you're back to apologise for your stupidity if you're wrong
Let's just call him AVB to start ok? Welcome AVB, someone should get him to join us on Not 606 so he knows what us fans really want from him.
