They'd be slaughtered in the media if they'd excluded his name..the issue is how fecking sad are gooners to bother voting for him when they claim not to be interested in us?

STALKERS ONE AND ALL <laugh>

The OS admits what was going on...

Ledley King won Thursday's poll with 41.04% of the vote as we put together our central defensive pairing.

He is partnered by Sol Campbell who, after a slow start in the vote, gathered pace (with a little help from across North London...) to finish second with 37.89%, ahead of Gary Mabbutt on 10.51%. So we have two Spurs home-grown players at centre-half.

Anyway, voting for right midfield...
Darren Anderton: 906*
Ruel Fox: 59
Simon Davies: 52
Aaron Lennon: 3180

Either we've had the grand total of four right wingers in twenty years, or we're not running the risk of Bentley winning it...

What about Dominguez? Didn't Dumitrescu play right? Although i'm not sure any of the famous 5 had fixed positions.

Bentley surely omitted due to Arse connections.

We did have one right wing prospect in our youth team once, who was apparently very good with set pieces. Then he got lost on the way to training and found himself in Manchester, where a local club had somehow accidentally drawn up a contract with his name on it...

Anyone see what Assou Ekotto put on twitter after being congratulated for winning?

'Why every say congratulation to me???? What i won???? Lol followers explain to me pls loooooool'

and then proceeded to write 'Oh reALLY????? SO PROUD merci to all supporters! Even if im in malaysia! I call my mum straight LOLLLL COYS'

Got to love him <laugh>

Dontcha wish your left-back was B.A.E. Dontcha?

He's good value on twitter. "good fishing day. I fished 9 trouts".

Darren Anderton: 1066*
Ruel Fox: 61
Simon Davies: 60
Aaron Lennon: 3436

I have to say, I don't agree with either choices for our right flank - Carr was our talisman during the dull days at the end of Sugar's reign of error and is far more worthy than Walker (at this point in his career), whilst Lennon may be a great player for us right now but Dazza was just as great albeit unfairly maligned with the Sicknote moniker.

As far as I'm concerned and every other spurs fan should agree "he who shall not be named" should have been erased from everyone's memories as a spurs player. If he does get in (don't know if he already has) then any spurs fan who voted for him should be appalled with themselves.

He did get in but, as the OS confirmed, plenty of votes are from non-Spurs fans.

I suppose if I was a gooner (horrible thought) I may do the same thing and vote for him. Surely the club should realise this though that no real spurs fan would ever vote for him!

Serious question now: On footballing grounds alone do you really think Campbell should not be in there?

I myself would vote for Ashley Cole as our best left back, despite his move to Chelsea.

Why restrict it to Premiership players? If we went back to the 60's he who shall not be named would not be named. Mike England was 10 times the player.
