    The criticism of Scally is so over the top. People keep saying on here that 'the manager can't look over his players in time'. The new manager can't look at his players until they return to training! How can a manager decide on how good the players are without seeing them train!? There wouldn't be much for the new manager to do until early next week so it isn't a big deal. Rant over.

    Good research BRB :) He has been my first choice since Clark was ruled out, clinging on to the thin hopes we may get him in.

    I tried mate believe me I did, it's on their daily agenda somewhere but they have no idea. I've asked many people down there and they are just surprised how long it's been dragging on for. I knew about AVB to Spurs pretty early but nothing on Gills, I plan to revolutionize the way the company operates so that the Gills are made priority ;)

    Thanks mate <ok> The second one I have picked up this week and the first one happened! The first one being, I knew about Clark before any official announcement. I just could not reveal my real source, because I did not want everyone stealing it, also did not want to end up being seen as unreliable if it was a wind-up <laugh>

    You've got to give Scally credit. No one anywhere has any idea. I'm not even sure he has an idea tbh, the last thing I read he still said he hadn't made up his mind.

    I should have added in my post earlier, that the link in regards to Stephen Constantine is an article dated 29th June. However, what will not be revealed in that link is the official announcement was made yesterday 28th June. Just for clarity more than anything.

    I think it was Einstein that said something like;
    The definition of madness is doing the same wrong thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

    edit - definition of insanity - doing things over and over again and expecting a different result

    Well, Constantine, Allen and Millen are all at 3-1 now. Hopefully the decision is made before pre-season starts. Is this the longest thread that we've had?

    I reckon that Scally could have drastically reduced the time of the interview process for each candidate.

    Q1. "Are you willing to work with Hess ?"
    Reply " No "
    Scally " Close the door behind you on your way out. "

    After nearly two months........Constantine - Has Scally found his " Yes " man ?

    This is getting silly now! Steve Constantine has at no stage in the last 2 months spoken to Gillingham Football Club!

    Do you have a link of him actually using the words you stated? 'Steve Constantine has at no stage in the last 2 months spoken to Gillingham Football Club!'

    I have read his blogs and have not seen that anywhere. He also spoke about his interest just over 6 weeks ago...http://www.kentnews.co.uk/sport/constantine_wants_gillingham_job_1_1377198

    I know where the rumour started in regards to him not having an interview but that knowledge was not via reading his own type/blog.
