Apparently the squad gets announced tomorrow.

Well it's clearly not today, whichever newspaper told me that!

 

I don't know when Pearce is going to do it, but it has to be before the 8th.

I can`t muster any interest in Olympic football, and not because the few Jocks and Irish who made themselves available haven`t been picked. For me Pearce is a shocking choice as coach, an ignorant individual who shows disrespect for opponents, and doesn`t fulfil Olympic principles. I was sure Beckham was going to be Captain, and whereas I don`t think he should have been, I think his omission has been poorly managed - he could have been told ages ago. Whats next for the Olympics - darts, snooker ?

 

Phil Taylor would be a funny Olympian could imagine the organiser trying to stop fans drinking as they do in the stadiums would be hilarious
