i hadn't even noticed that but you're right, they could end up being saddled with this debt for years to come, compounded by the lack of revenue through no europe for 3 - or 4 - years 
If the club are to be responsible for football debts (not tax debts or debts to non-football creditors) then I think that would be acceptable. We are owed more than we owe anyway.
They are desperate to have us in the SPL next season, with the inclusion of the playoffs for places 2-4 in Division 1.
It involves changing the rules after the event, did Rangers not win a court ruling around doing that already?
