The last bullet point is copied verbatim from the BBC page. Other than the "pervious club" bit, that is surely a whole can of worms.
i hadn't even noticed that but you're right, they could end up being saddled with this debt for years to come, compounded by the lack of revenue through no europe for 3 - or 4 - years
I'll believe it when i see it, I still think they have made a lot of enemies in the 1st division over the last few months and it's all very well for one guy from the SFl to say "Okay", I'm sure the chairmen of the SFL clubs will make the final decision.

in all seriousness though and from what i've seen, there is as much appetite from the first divisions clubs to let them in as there was from spl clubs to let them stay - third division and league reconstruction next year would be my bet
If the club are to be responsible for football debts (not tax debts or debts to non-football creditors) then I think that would be acceptable. We are owed more than we owe anyway. They are desperate to have us in the SPL next season, with the inclusion of the playoffs for places 2-4 in Division 1.
Rumoured that you will be suspended for one season (alternative to embargo) and then come into division one the year after when changes have been approved.
It involves changing the rules after the event, did Rangers not win a court ruling around doing that already?
Money talks so could happen, but what exactly is in it for the 3rd division clubs? No games against rangers and the possibility of relegation. Not exactly the most tempting offer put before them. It's going to take more than Craig Whyte's duping abilities to swing that one.
