This would be a excellent signing,but not at the expense of stead.we must keep him top player the last three months of the season.
I would rather have McCormack than Stead, yes Stead was on good form but would much rather have a out an out goal scorer. McCormack won't be cheap so to get someone like him we would need to bargin and Stead is the only one they would want.

Welcome to not 606, what is concerning for me the likes of McCormack would be a definite improvement on the field,but Del does seem to be looking at every tom dick and harry up north. I just hope he has more contacts than we are seeing in the rumor mill.
My favourite City player was Scottish, City stalwarts have been Scottish, but I do not want to see a team full of Celtic transients and the club becoming part of a network north of the border. The clubs future should be development of players and defining itself as the pride of the west. City squandered millions on players who did **** all. The mix I would like to see is in somewhere in between Wilson v Johnson which includes clear emphasis that players will come into the starting XI via the academy.
Wurzel, i think the academy will improve in the future,for to long it has not been operated correctly,however there are signs that things are going to improve. Bring on your own talent,as Crewe etc do.
Millions were spent on Slovaks out of position[!], fat centre halves and burnt out full backs. I think that attitude has to come from above. It has to be made to work. Enough Scots now, more West Country kids.
