Not by choice but by circumstance.
Had a whole weekend free from Footy and TV.
So the debacle of the match went unheard and unseen.
My son and I decided we wouldn't listen to the match or the results.
No not like the Likely Lads so they could watch the match later!
Just not bother for the whole weekend, no MOTD no papers nothing.
Actually had a canny weekend that ended down Teesdale great weather a bit worm drowning and beer in the keepnet. (Makes a change from having my keepnet full of Skunks!)
Still haven't read any match reports, my first port of call was here.
And the thread titles told me all I needed to know. :(
I probably will try to view the match online this week but maybe not, as I aint no masochist! :p

Come on Brucey get yer ****ing finger out son!

I would have this weekend off as well. Cannot see us getting owt off Brum.

Was extremely confident of turning it around against WBA and then carrying on to a good season finish. Its pretty obvious however that SB has lost the dressing room so now hoping for a win against Wigan to calm my nerves

I know how you feel MR. I haven't been able to watch MOTD for weeks! I just can't stomach watching the lads playing absolutely ****e for one more second!

Thoroughly depressed right now and if I and other fans are feeling this way, the team must be feeling like jumping in the Wear with lead boots on too! It's going to be a very though last 6 matches of the season for the team and my pessimism is getting the better of me. On current form, I can't see us winning another game this season. :(

On the plus side, at least we have some decent weather at the moment! :)

Only thing I would pull you up on is the players jumping in the Wear mate.
There are a couple of them look as if they are only turning up for the money.
I have said this before I know, but I watched some ****e football over the years all the way back to the old 3rd division.
But I cheered terrible Sunderland teams off, after being beaten, just for the effort that was put in and the pride of wearing the shirt.
