Whyte never paid the 'Small Tax Case', Whyte never paid HMRC Rangers current liabilities, these are the reasons the club was put into Administration.

Murray is a ****, but Whyte's tenure brought about the end of the company behind Rangers FC.

On an unrelated point, I was in seeing Stewart McKenna's brother there, he said Duff & Felch courted him about buying Rangers and wanted him to develop the land. He says he's still involved at Rangers.

seeing as this is the pedantic thread, the club announced it would be going into administration and then hector hastened it. The non payment of taxes was not the reason the club went into administration at all, rather the copper fastener on it.

Rangers were finished either way, just having a mentalist at the drivers wheel put a whole different hue on things.

And the First Tier Tax Tribunal? That was an "appeal" against the decison, that appeal now lies unchallenged and would have been due in any case, hence the £94m, £72m of which fell during Murray's tenure.

Murray jumped ship before the inevitable happened. BTC was lost as was the small one. <ok>
