If you get him, good luck to you ....... he's a very good footballer and a very decent human being .......... and last's night's debacle against Italy should, hopefully, have helped to lay to rest a convenient urban myth that it was always Emile's lack of scoring that robbed an otherwise superb England team of world domination... LOL
 
RIGHT! im going to post it here in the hope that all the Hull fans that sprawl all over our board read it.

IF this is true, you have got a great player for the championship, so dont come on here at christmas or whenever saying "wish you had got Heskey dont you lol lol lol" because YES i do wish we had/will sign Heskey.

At the end of the day, he will prob be going to you for various reasons:
a) linking up with Bruce.
b) theres a 99.9% chance that you offered him better wages due to your ex-prem manager who has no idea what a regular championship wage is.
c) Pearson just wasnt interested in signing him, although i think he would do a brilliant job in place of big Steve that has been released recently.
 
If Heskey had the choice out of us and hull he would have come here for sure. Nigel mustn't have been interested
 
Cage Tiger, are you aware that Hesky gave £100,000 of his own money to save Leicester when we went into administration - Whatever you post on here, please don't suggest Hesky chose Hull over Leicester

Proud - you may well be right that we have not made an offer etc .. but there is another possibility ... sometimes it is better to live off the memories than to go back ... he is not that rampaging teenager with the huge potential any more, and he may feel that the expectation elsewhere is less beacuse of it ... he ceretainly would not want to let his home town club down ... just a thought.

Heskey has said only recently that he would love to return here
 
Heard that the reason was that we didn't put a firm offer on the table as we want to get rid of players first and Heskey wants to sign asap.

Also if we were to make an offer, it would be only for a year while Hull are offering 2 or more.

I think the two year deal is almost certainly the reason we're getting him. <ok>
 
Any particular reason you posted this on our board?

I know we probably have more regular Hull posters than Leicester posters, but this is actually the Leicester board <ok>


Oh and don't suggest that he chose you over us. Heskey loves Leicester and has always said he wanted to return, I doubt we put an offer in.
 
Had we made an offer then Heskey would have come back here. Nigel might put in an offer now just to piss Hull off

We were reported to have offered him a 1 year deal. I think that a 2 year deal at Hull with a manager he knows well was probably just a more attractive prospect.
 
good luck hull, you will now be a much better TEAM as a result. Yes he will frustrate you at times, but i think this is the coup of the division. Really will flourish. I really really wanted him, and NP likes his 4-4-2. Wasnt to be though, good luck to both you and heskey. Thought he would join you.
