Cole's pen was a world class one. Goalkeeper had no chance <ok>

Gerrard was non existent in the second half. Same for Parker their legs went after 50min.

Agree young was ****, Johnson had a good game but gerrard was bobbins

Young clearly didn't fancy his penalty. Head down, straight into the run-up, never a good sign.

The irony is that he was probably left on specifically to take a penalty. He's been smashing them in left right and centre in training according to Hodgson.

In Cole's defence he's not an attacking player and was excellent in all four games. Young was atrocious in all four, had no confidence and I can only assume that the penalty takers were assigned beforehand.

    typical Scouser comment this.

Welbeck done alright in the game just didn't have much time on the ball.

Gerrard was also very sloppy in the second half, didn't your eyes see that?

Johnson was good though. What did Hernderson do rather then giving the ball away?

Henderson played quite well in his 25 minutes. Played one good pass to Walcott in particular which would have got more recognition if it wasn't miscontrolled.

I think with the way our midfield were overrun, there was not much Welbeck and Rooney could have done. Carroll was at least a little taller (helps for desperate long balls) but still couldn't do anything significant.

Hart and the defenders did well to hold on. Everyone else was absent after the first half.

Welbeck was poor? he hardly had the ball, he did come back and won the ball at times. he did link up with player's well. you shoudl take ur scouser tinted specs off, your saying Welbeck is poor because he's a united player. yes i admit Young was very poor, Rooney wasn't bad, he was alright, just not fully match fit.

No matter England deserves this, they played defensive in second half and extra time, either way if England did win this, the mighy Germans would knock them out and Italy would get knocked out by Germans too.

Germany would knock out italy anyway. Even If England won this game, they would get knocked out by the Germans.

The mighty dangerous looking Germans will reach the final

Trying to cover for Young and Rooney obviously. Might as well started with nine.
