    but i wouldn't mind all this rooney love in if he has a blinder and scores a couple or sets a couple up.

    but as he's scored one in a woeful personel display it should be about the team!

    Tense stuff. They should've scored, we should've scored...and repeat. Italy edging it at the moment, but Welbeck might rue that miss later!

    If we hold possession a bit better we could win this inside of 90 minutes. I'm always nervous when we're camped inside our 25, though. Especially when we're happy to sit-off them and not pressure the person on the ball. <steam>

    Rooney is on cause the media hype around him.

    As for Young, I think its a case of him being so invisible that Woy has forgotten that Young's name is on the team sheet and in turn forgot to cross it out.

    Got to give Carroll and Downing a go surely. I know Downing has been shocking this season, but he's generally good for England. At least you'd know he was there! And he'd give Cole some cover.

    If England did get though (and its a big if) and Young plays, then Woy must not be watching the games.

    Not only has he been Englands worst player, I think he's been the worst at the tournament (even worse than any of the Dutch)
