I know he was arguably the best CB we've had since the Premier League started, but I can't see Campbell being voted into the final XI. That's probably me being petty, but I just think he's a ******
Oh.. and my team Robinson Walker King Mabbutt Bale Lennon Modric Moussa Saib (just kidding, perhaps Parker) Ginola Klinsmann Sheringham
Robbo Carr King Dawson BAE Anderton Modric Ginola Bale Keane Sheringham Subs Berbatov Carrick Davids Lennon Walker VdV Defoe
Robinson Carr Ziege Kaboul King Popescu Anderton Modric Ginola Klinsmann Berbatov Subs Gomes BAE Carrick Van Der Vaart Sheringham Keane
I almost said Hoddle! Bale, Ginola and Berbatov would definitely get into mine. All quality players, who score goals and are/were exciting to watch. I'd build the team around them. Robinson (at his best) in goal, and Ledders (pre-injury) leading the back-line.
Walker Carr King Mabbutt Bale Anderton Howells Modric Ginola Klinnsmann Berbatov Subs Robbo Teddy Parker Walker Kaboul VDV Thudd
Sixteen years on, I still can't see any logical reason for selling Thorstvedt and keeping Ian Walker. Which gives me ample reason to mention the loveliness of his daughter Charlotte... please log in to view this image
I would have to think long and hard about this one. But, for me, any all time Spirs team would include Greaves and Dave Mackay. Something like.... Robinson Kaboul King Judas Bale Hoddle Mackay Modric Ginola Greaves Klinsmann
Thorstvedt....what a beast, was like having dolph lundgren between the sticks...as for him leaving, didn't he have injuries that forced him to retire?
And the votes for the all-time best goalkeeper currently stand at... Erik Thorsvedt: 93* Ian Walker: 162 Neil Sullivan: 5 Kasey Keller: 7 Paul Robinson: 113 Heurelho Gomes: 31 Brad Friedel: 92 I can only assume Goons are voting for Walker.
