I've been in prison lately and I'm not up to speed with things. What's the deal with the BTC? Is it finished with or can they still come after the Newco Rangers for Ibrox Stadium if "we" lose it? 1/3 a tim answers first
Sook ma plooms. Seriously though, I have no idea, I've stopped trying to figure out what is going on. How do you get potentially £94 million from a business which doesn't technically exist any more? It's a ****ing riddle.
It almost seemed as if Rangers were now liable for £94 million before the tax case was finished. In all honesty there is too much lies, conjecture and wummery going on with the whole Rangers thing for it to be unravelled. That CVA document was produced by Duff and Phelps, don't think there is a person in Scotland who actually trusts those ****s now.
including the courts A judge today ordered an investigation into Rangers administrators Duff and Phelps. inShare Lord Hodge, sitting at the Court of Session today, said he wanted to examine allegations the company had a conflict of interest before it took over the role. The judge referred to a BBC television programme shown last month in which investigative reporter Mark Daly examined links beetween senior Duff and Phelps employees and disgraced former Rangers owner Craig Whyte. Lord Hodge said he had no view on the claims but wanted to know if Duff and Phelps had obtained legal advice on the conflict of interest issue and acted on it before being appointed administrators. The judge said he had done nothing until now because he did not want to hinder the process of Rangers going into liquidation. The BBC claims relate to a deal between Whyte and London-based Ticketus who pay-rolled Whyte's take-over with cash expected to flow from season ticket sales, starving the Ibrox club of future income. The BBC said David Grier, a senior partner with Duff and Phelps, knew about the Ticketus deal, a claim which Duff and Phelps denied. The report demanded by Lord Hodge is expected to be ready in three weeks and a further court hearing is likely to be arranged after that.
No but they can go after the individuals who were in receipt of these "Loans" that will NEVER be paid back. Despite Minty giving them a personal guarantee that he would deal with HMRC if they ever came calling, his promise is not worth the price of paper it was written on. Some people's arses (Including the Dignified Cardigan) will be ****ting buttons.
About ****ing time. Even as a Celtic fan I find it reprehensible that Duff and Phelps were allowed to act as they did. Spent 3 months with their thumbs up their arses, pocketed a wad of cash and left a huge football team they were supposed to be helping in deeper ****e than they were already in. They shouldn't be allowed to do business in Scotland again, for any company never mind a club as big as Rangers.
The Scottish game is a shambles, how are there no provisions for and SPL or SFA representative to check up on administrators to make sure they are acting with the clubs best interests at heart? Surely it wouldn't have been hard to send some ****er over with one question "What are you ****s on?" If more clubs go to the wall we need the correct measures to control it.
I really don't understand how the could've been appointed in the first place even the mention of any possibly link should have been enough to shoot it down. Don't get me wrong I doubt we would've had much better luck with a different administrator but the fact of the matter is Duffs and Phelps are clearly not up to the job. Because you are clearly racist Also join my hitler fan club www.hitlerforprimeminister.nazi
