Done my homework , this takeover is the only way forward , SD or no SD , I hope the negative reaction of some notably the Trust do not scare pozzi off, I for one like the idea of having brother clubs and fans in spain and italy , could be some fun trips Please WFC dont **** this up
Let's hope this is just as they want to haggle over the price and not as Baz has opened his mouth in another smooth PR move and scared them off !

I know the Trust mean well, and I'm going to resist the temptation to disect their competence or otherwise, but I genuinely believe that the club would be better off with them not existing. It's easy to see why some clubs have half a dozen supporters' groups. We can talk about Granada being a nursery club, but the fact is that they were broke and in the Segunda División B (Spain's League One) when the Pozzo family took over in 2009. Were it not for Sean Dyche, we would be in exactly that position today. Just three years later, Granada have achieved something we have not managed in a quarter of a century: survival in the top flight. I'm sure we all want these things: Our academy's future to be safeguarded Stadium redevelopment Investment that could realistically help us go up without threatening our future. For people who have served this club well to at least be treated with dignity and respect, and ideally get a chance to prove themselves. If this takeover secures the first two things, great. If the investment is coming from people with a track record of running successful football clubs, then that's as much as you can hope for from any investor who does not support the club. And even then, let's not forget that Graham Simpson was genuinely a Watford fan: it doesn't always work. So for me the only concern is the last point. I would politely but angrily suggest that the Trust focus their efforts on trying to stress how important treating people right is to this club, rather than treat our most promising would-be owners in years (surely better than Bassini, the Russos, and Ashcroft via Simpson and Ashton?) with their most hostile stance ever.
Udinese have 26 players out on loan! I'm sure if we're taken over, we'll see at least one or two of them here....
I like the idea of 'brother' clubs (not parent/feeder clubs) as well. Could make for an interesting triangular tournament next summer! Just where would we fancy it being held? Italy, Spain or Watford? Maybe as a curtain opener for our new East Stand As for the suspended employee... I do have my suspicions on who it would be, but is purely my own opinion!
They have flown over from Italy and are in Watford!!!!!! http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/news/9771109.UFO_sighting_reported/
A good piece in the Wobby about what we might expect from them; http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...rd_follow_similar_path_as_Pozzo_run_Granada_/ I think we are a slightly different 'project' to Granda though as we already have promising youth, so may concentrate on more 'quality' signings. No real mention on if they had to invest in the infrastructure though!
i just finished reading that on Twitter Kev, and i have to admit to being heartened by it... Now we just need the deal to go through! (though reading the end of the article, it sounds as if it's pretty much a done deal?)
Here is hoping for a very smooth transition, with no last minute hitches, no hidden surprises! And of course SD remaining as our leader U' Orns!!!
Yes and then they are given the chance to put their plans into action without being jumping on straight away with fans demanding results and money being thrown around.
Good article in The WO http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...rd_follow_similar_path_as_Pozzo_run_Granada_/
do you think it's significant that SSN have taken the potential takeover off the short news at the bottom? Hmm...would be good to know what's going on!
