Not much of a rumour but certainly realistic - Aaron Wildig was signed (according to blue & amber, according to Twitter!). Good, if so.

Here's one for Chris Gashead - we're interested in Byron Anthony? He'll love that, I could write the post myself. Only a rumour mind, so 90% likely to lead nowhere.

On loan to Hereford in 2012... <confused>

Looks certain we have signed Darren Jones from Aldershot as he has left there to sign for a newly promoted club in a higher league and says himself its not Swindon. Alot of negative talk on other forums about his past, if he does sign I just hope people will trust GT and give him a chance to prove himself & not use a mistake in his past against him. Let his football do the talking.

This is a fairly typical Turner signing, on a free from a League 2 club and a player he has worked with before. I think Aldershot were defensively quite strong and he certainly got the votes from their supporters so it looks like a straight replacement for Sharps. Perhaps he will form a good experienced partnership with Hazell and I hope they will be as good as Sharps and Cansdell-Sheriff were.
On another tack, Matt Sadler has just signed for Crawley.

I'd quite like that, although I would still like a ball-winning midfielder in the mould of DMac. Richards is very good at sitting deep and winning the ball, but he has played at his best in the middle when partnered with a more defensively minded player.

I'd agree with that, we need a BSHouse of a players to sit infront of the defense and clatter anyone who dares to go near our goal, yet still provide the ball for the creative forward minded players..

He was with us on trial and GT turned him down. When he signed for Cheltenham, he said he had signed for a club with greater potential than us.

Been away for a few days and the place is crumbling. To lose a couple of players turning us down is neither here nor there but to lose 4 and only being left with the possibility of Neal is sheer carelessness.

Paul Parry from PNE, strangely they think we have offered more money that they have, yet they took Sheriff and Wroe off of us.

Also led to believe he is something of a penalty specialist, which we're now lacking after Wroe and Collins left.

I'd imagine, if he does sign, it'll be similar to Neal departure - offered a pretty measly contract as second choice, or a decent (for us, anyway) contract and first team football.
