    Good signing. Need some experience in the back four & he will bring that.

    Echo's simons comments a typical piece of Warnocks puzzle & he will be first team, thats for sure! <ok>

    He is obviously coming in to replace Aidy White. Wonder how much we'll get for White? More importantly, who will he be signing for, as it affects our transfer fee negatively if its a foreign club. Maybe Third Lanark?

    It's a signing that makes a lot of sense positionally, hopefully we'll have Aidy White there too, and Drury is a good contrast to him, and he'll also do well next to Pearce in that half of the defence.

    Okay lets not beat about the bust here, this is hardly the inspirational signing that we had hoped for and perhaps even deserve, but it is a new player (albeit a geriatric one).
    There is clearly no money to spend on a player, only wages, hence we will continue to look at players coming to the end of their careers and who will probably not do too much for us whilst they wear the white shirt. More to follow, Kenny being another. :sad:

    Dont need to spend millions to build a squad though do you?

    I'm Happy with both signings Warnock has made <ok>

    This surely means we aren't getting a big investment/takeover for us to be still picking off free agents?

    I don't see how this means the takeover has fallen through. This is a classic Warnock signing, and he probably would have signed him for QPR if he was available. Some people are far too willing to assume the worst at the slightest opportunity.

    I'd be happy with this if its followed up with high quality, hungry and ambitious Championship players who have not yet reached their peak. I'll not hold my breath though...

    So far apart from Yalor (and we are not expecting him to run about much)
    21 year old left back Scot Malone
    25 year old midfielder Chris Taylor
    22 year old midfielder Josh Wright

    <cheers>

    You've got yourselves a really solid defender here guys, we're all gutted to see him go. Not the fastest but positionally he is excellent, could have done a job for us for at least one more season in the Premiership.

    The following vid has quite a few clips of him in.

    Not the greatest signing but when you consider Lee's and Pearce in the middle this could be the experience that we need. I do like the fact it is another ex captain that we have signed, a few leaders all over the pitch as long as they are level headed can only be good.

    Just to point out aswell with regards to people thinking it might be an indication of the takeover collapsing; the LUST chairman is on WACCOE and he seems pretty happy.
