Put in their reserve team (3rd divison I think, not sure) and got some big ligament injury ruining his season.

According to wikipedia he's playing for their reserve side, and he's had a bad injury which probably isn't helping him settle in. Doubt he'll be looking to move though, he's only had one injury-hit season there, probably still feels he has a good crack at it.
 
Pogrebnyak ment to be going to Reading for 13mil and 60k a week wages :S.
 
Does seem a bit excessive. Having said that, if he is able to reproduce his Fulham form that will be money well spent. That's a big if, however.

I did think he was available on a free transfer though, no?

Will be interesting to see who else they are after...

Think he is a free transfer. I've seen a more conservative £35k reported.
 
Been wondering all summer why Fulham seem so unbothered about hanging on to him. Why aren't they getting him a contract asap? He was a great find for them. Surely they have first shot? Acknowledge that Reading's Russian owner may have a decent pull on him, but still. Why are Fulham dawdling? Strange he hardly got a look in for the Russian side this tournament too. Twenty minutes against Greece...

I thought he said transfer fee, but like you said that's alot of money.
 
Sounds a lot but how does it compare with other wages - for example how much are we paying Rodriguez over however long his contract is (4 years?)?
 
£13m over 4 years doesn't sound particularly expensive for a top-flight footballer.

Actually having done the maths, that's £62.5k a week.
