I seriously think that if you get Hulk you WILL be the team to beat for the title next season. I think you have the players now and this guy will complete the jigsaw. I hope you dont pinch HBA off us as he needs a full season in the prem to show his stuff and with the frightening talent you already have I think he would be a bench warmer.

Little prediction here.... your top scorer next season will be...........TORRES!

Geordie--I think you are spot on with Torres. He's had confidence issues but things are really starting to go right for him now! As for HBA, I think if we get Hulk (which all Blues are eyeballs out for) our spending will be over! Here's to a great season ahead--and I hope Alan Pardew continues to improve things on the Tyne!

I don't see us needing him, paper talk hopefully! Wouldn't object to him but think we have enough wide players now. In fact we seem to be going from one extreme (lack of width) to the other!
 
We should pay £40m for Hulk which is a fair deal considering his buy out clause is €100m Hulk is a great player.
 
I like the look of Moses he has pace to burn, he is strong and he can assist. But the only ability he lacks is to score goals. That could change in a better team though.
 
Lads, if we hear of a transfer rumour we'd like to discuss can we all post it in here? Saves having 3 different threads on the same player that's all, if we actually sign that player then a new thread is fine <ok>
 
I think if you can get Moses for £20m cheaper than Hulk, you should do it. Moses is still young and he was exceptional in a poor team, imagine what he could do with players like Mata and Hazard around him.

Remember when Valencia left Wigan for United? Everyone said they should be buying top players, rather than a 'squad' player. Now look at him, he's easily one of United's best players. I feel like Moses could enjoy a very similar path if he joined you guys.

Agree with you there except for the fee! £20m less than Hulk is still £18m, bit too much for Moses in my eyes. It's good to see we're looking at alternatives to Hulk though.

Oh sorry - I thought the Hulk deal was £32m, and I read on twitter today that Wigan were looking for £10m. I think over £12m would be too much for Moses, there are lots of good, young attacking wingers who'd be available for around that fee.
 
Modric to Chelsea rumors starting to pick up. According to the Express we're going to better Madrid's offer.

Especially in the context of Barca's new winger/left back Jordi Alba moving for around £11.5M.
