In England offered their fellow brother in the North a place in the English football Leagues would the proud individual Celts accept this ?
I think this would be a great idea myself .

We'd have won the EPL within 5 years, so not much of a challenge anyway.

A few years ago I would have agreed with my fellow fans but now I'm not so sure. Scottish football is in a very bad way and I can't see how it it's likely to improve. Falling attendences, pitiful TV deals and its demands, and self-serving Chairmen are killing the game.

Just look at the statement issued by Motherwell yesterday. To sum it up it says Rangers should probably be demoted to the 3rd division but that would lose us a few sheckels so, **** it, we'll vote yes to keep them in the SPL.

There in a nutshell is what's wrong with Scottish football: club owners who put self-interest before the good of the game.

I was referring to rangers joining our Leagues system , they are in distress , we are similar so where's the problem ?
Celtic are far too individual to want to join and neither the English want them , if they did they would form a franchise in Cork or Limerick .

i couldnt afford away games :(

i doubt "the english" (ze germans <grr>) want rangers any more than they want celtic

i suspect they dislike plastic englishmen just as much as "plastic paddys" ;)

That may be so dear but that gets us nowhere does it Mavis ?

I can not answer that , but I do know one thing , your highlight and the thing that shall keep you going for the next year is the visit to Wembley , well it's not like you have the trips to Motherwell or Dundee to keep you going is it ?
