I quite like McCarthy, and Townsend's alright. I think you need to make room for Mark Lawrenson though. He gets my vote for most irritating knob jockey of the tournament coverage.

Burley's a cock, but I think Lawrenson edges him out with his constant snidey asides. A particular favourite was when he slagged off Podolski for playing for Germany despite being born in Poland. That's Mark Lawrenson who played for Ireland despite being born in England and not having Irish parents.

Some Irish prick on ITV - Beglin?

He's annoying as ****!

The worst Co-commentators are every **** in the pub with their ****ty opinions, I am right and everyone else is wrong unless they agree with me.

I was born in England Tarquin, can you milk me?

voted townsend seem to recall that he called gary cahill, cary gayhill on one occasion, though i may be wrong, then again he's better than jim beglin who is just utterly shocking, generally anyone on ITV sucks.

talking of which is anyone else waiting for Roy Keane to get fed up with the stupid questions from Adrian Chilles and lash out Keano style, or am i just hopeful...

McCarthy was absolutely dire tonight, he's a top bloke but he's SO ****ING BIASED! <grr>

Maybe not every single person in England watching an Irish game doesn't want Ireland to win...
