He wanted assurances that he had the full support of the spud board and wasn't happy that an offer of a new or improved contract wasn't coming despite taking them into the top four so perhaps the spud board wanted to play it by ear to see how Hodgson pans out in the England job rather than get tied into a new massive deal that Harry wants out of if the England job comes up in the next year or so.
i wonder if Donkey Jackett fancies a crack at managing a real Laarndan club in the prem, it could be his only chance, unless ambitious Palace, or Watford come in for him, but i can't see the spuds going for a manager who's always struggling in the bottom half of the championship after spending millions on players but keeps going backwards
