Maybe. But, it was Comolli who persuaded him to dump Jol and bring in Ramos. It was Comolli who was behind virtually all of the disastrous, overpriced signings. The only good to come out of it, is that we managed to dump him on the Mousers, where he repeated the trick. So, we weren't the only ones to be fooled.

Some one here tell me when the Spurs played better and more attractive football than under Harry? I have watched the Spurs since 1948 and yes the double side were great to watch on awful pitches ******ed training routines compared with todays techniques and the dead weight leather ball/ since that double side this is the best team playing the most entertaining football since the double side but being Spurs sack the manager?

I'm excited as to who we get. Thanks Harry but goodbye. You did a good job when we needed you and you signed some good players but go to the Gulf mate, you'll do well there.

Yes there is a debate Levy lives off of our money and how he manages our club is extremely debatable

If he has moved to remove Harry then the odds are we retire back to mid-table

really? we were punching above our weight just because of Harry?

thats what you are basically saying.

Yes Harry did great for us.....but come on...this squad of ours is not a mid table squad.

i think we will do well again.

1987 team managed by David Pleat. Also, if Harry thinks he's so good he would just accept a one year rolling contract. I don't see Wenger complaining about having the same arrangement

You are kidding the sharks will be circling tomorrow morning and unless Levy gives a press conference early naming his planned replacement several players will be more than tempted by (considerable ) higher earnings and a secure future elsewhere
So will Levy tell us the people who supply the money he lives off who is our new high profile manager, do not hold your breath, will the replacement be an experienced top four manager, do not hold your breath
Ps the Pleat team was excellent but although attractive they fell short of the performance Harry has gained from his team

I wonder what's going to happen to ALL of Harry's coaches? How many of them will be going on the dole?
How much money will be saved sacking them?....and how much will Harry get as a goodbye....?
I quite liked Harry's football style. Not his off pitch stuff.
How many managers will that be since Bill walked out?

....and I still think the Harry for England business screwed the team up!Look at those results from Arsenal onwards.Unbelievable!Impossible even, but it happened. When it died down it was too late!!!!

How could the best football playing team in the premier league go ass up?

He doesn't have to be an experienced top 4 manager. What experience did Redknapp have before coming to Spurs? Portsmouth?, Southampton?, hardly top 4 stuff! The quality of the players we have is one of the best in half a century, it now needs to have it's potential maximised.

I think that's just the problem. Harry is suffering from delusions of managerial greatness. His ego seems to have convinced him of his prowess, and so he thinks he should be rewarded, despite his blatant show of disloyalty. If Harry had kept his fat gob shut, gone to Levy privately and apologised for what happened, there's a chance he may have retrieved the situation. Once he went to the press to try and put pressure on Levy, I for one, knew it was all over for him.
