Sorry,I had a doctors appointment and then lost internet for an hour or so. You've all brought up some valid points but to answer a couple,Ancelotti and Klopp want to come to the EPL as Bilic does and we were 4th best team last season so it's a lure for all of them. We might not have CL to offer but it wouldn't be long under any of those managers before we up there again and I don't see it with Moyes. Yes Everton finished strongly but were not consistent enough and never have been with Moyes. Harry's teams fade as has been mentioned and I'll be nervous that we'll do the same next season under Harry.

The Russian season ends in November, and given the trigger happy nature of club owners over there he can't be written out of long-term planning - the same can be said of Hiddink, whose contract with Anzhi runs out next May.
Ancelotti signed a 2 1/2 year contract with PSG, so unless he has a clause in his contract to move back to the Premier League (a bit far-fetched, I know, but he does have a release clause for the Real Madrid job) or he gets fired that's him out of the running until at least summer 2013.
Even if they do the timing doesn't look right at all for the reasons I gave plus, as Spurfectionist says, Bilic has already taken a new job and I'd be surprised if he'd be able to tear that up before starting. I'm still not convinced our current position is all that attractive, being on the brink of CL football without a huge amount to spend and with the expectation of CL football minimum would be all that attractive given how much competition we're up against in the league.
One advantage of Bilic taking the Lokomotiv job is that it gives him experience in club management, something he doesn't have outside a short caretaker stint at Dinamo Zagreb - and it should be noted Lokomotiv didn't qualify for European competition next season.
Moyes is another Hodgson, good at getting the best out of a limited squad with low expectations on a limited budget. Raise the expectations, the transfer budget and the quality of squad, then watch Moyes bottle it.

I have to agree CB. Coaches break contracts all the time. If we can't get the three I mentioned then let's pleeeeaasseeee look further afield than Moyes. Thanks for the feedback lads,some good points made. We will have one of the three I mentioned because I cannot see Bilic staying in Russia,he'll want to be where the action is and that's here. Moyes isn't high profile enough. Klopp can be lured.
I believe in taking a risk on getting the next top manager, not the last one--but I don't know enough about football to say who that is right now. It's a higher risk strategy, more so when big name managers tend to be able to attract big name players. But it's higher reward as well, and I believe in few things like getting onto the front foot and staying there.
So, no Moyes to me.
I also think Redknapp is like Modric: voluntarily getting rid of either one because they've lacked loyalty strikes me as a step on the road downhill, because it doesn't give either one enough credit for Spurs' recent rise. If they leave, fine, so be it, there's no bad juju in that.

We also have Huddlestone to come back.
Fellaini is good but that area is one in which we don't need anymore players.
In short, No. Lewis and Levy would not be investing in a new stadium, and would not have spent the money that has been spent if the ambition wasn't real. I think that Lewis is probably, rightly, pissed off with his money being wasted by Comolli, and probably has told Levy to tighten up, and make sure it doesn't happen again - hence the protracted haggling we now see. I think, again in short, that Harry has made his bed, and now has to lie on it.

I had until now had high regard for Levy but now he believes he knows better than Harry in how to move (keep moving ) forward, I really did believe we were to at least stay as top four regulars or better but now have grave doubts
Yeah apart from a few days towards the end of the season when it looked like we could even finish 6th, I always backed 'Arry.
I'll wait to find out if this is true firstly and then secondly what went on before I judge Levy.
